Leonora Pearl Schumann Dahlman, 95, passed away May 26, 2011, in Richfield. She was born October 31, 1915, in Grand Island, Nebraska, to Reinholdt William and Opal Grace Leota Schumann. She married Arnold Dahlman on July 31, 1948, in Carson City, Nevada. They had 62 years of love and laughter together. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2010.
Lee worked for the L.A. City Schools for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering as a Pink Lady. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, holding the office of District President, and organized her unit's Girl's State program for many years. She and Arnold enjoyed spending their free time in Mesquite. She was an active member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Central.
She is survived by her children: George (Kathy) Crippen, California; Suzy (Earl) Anderson, California; Gwen (Vernon) Moore, Arizona; and Donna (David) Burton, Marysvale; 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Preceded in death by parents; husband; grandson, Scott Pearson Anderson; sisters: Olive, Muriel, Dorothy, Rosalie and Adelaide.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Central Valley. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
