Leon Kay Quarnberg, 80, passed away on March 28, 2021 in Richfield, Utah. He was born on April 28, 1940 in Scipio, Utah to Floyd H and Amey C Allred Quarnberg. He married Dixie Elaine Dalton on May 28, 1973. He is the father of Mark (Kelly) Quarnberg, and Brian (Cindy) Quarnberg.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loved spending time with his family and friends. They loved spending time in the outdoors, at the cabin, riding four-wheelers, side-by-sides, hunting and fishing.
Leon served in the United States Navy from 1959-1963 as a class A radar man.
He is survived by his wife; children; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; brothers: Allen (Mary) Quarnberg, Ellis (Julia) Quarnberg. He is preceded in death by parents; daughter, Melissa Ruth Quarnberg; siblings: Glade, Gale, Jaquetta.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service. Burial will be in the Aurora Cemetery with military honors Salina American Legion Post #36.
