Leo D. "L.D." Jensen, 80 of Elsinore, passed away March 14, 2017 in Provo from complications after surgery. He was born October 4, 1936 in Emery, Utah to Leo James and Ada May Smith Jensen. He was raised in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School. He served in the Utah National Guard for 15 years.
He married Marjorie Anne Nielson, they later divorced.
He married Dian Christiansen, June 22, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He started working with Security Title in Salt Lake City and was a vice president before the company became 1st American Title, where he was also a vice president. Leo later moved into underwriting. After retirement, he and Dian moved home to Elsinore where they built their dream home. She preceded him in death March 4, 2003.
Leo was heart broken when Dian passed away, but fortunately he found Judy Ann Barnson Morrison, he was her "White Knight". They were married May 16, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized a year later on May 16, 2007 in the Manti Utah Temple.
Leo is survived by his wife, Judy of Elsinore; children: Mark (Debbie) Jensen of Denver, CO; Bryan (Ashley) Jensen of Layton; Judy’s children: Kevin (Bobbi) Morrison of Glenwood, Penny (K.C.) Burns of Cypress, TX, Corey (Staci) Morrison of Richfield; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, J. Ralph Wood. Leo is also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Louis Prince Jensen and sister, Jacqueline Wood.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield or at the ward chapel in Elsinore on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery with military honors by the Utah National Guard Honor Guard.
