Leland Robert West
February 13, 1952 — August 8, 2017
Leland Robert West, 65, of Centerfield passed away August 8, 2017 at the V.A. hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born February 13,1952 to Maloy and Virgina West. He married Judy and they later had one son Jerimah West.
Leland served two tours in the Vietnam War. He was a painter and body and fender guy by trade. He loved to write tributes to others and was a great artist. Camping is what he enjoyed, especially a good campfire. He will be missed by family and many friends.
Leland is survived by his son Jerimah, daughter Megan, brother James Okerlund, nephews Scott Okerlund, Ray Okerlund, and niece Tina Roberts.
He is preceded in death by his parents Maloy and Virgina West, and two brothers Smokey Okerlund, and Curtis Okerlund.
