Lee E Anderson passed away in Mt. Pleasant on January 10, 2012 at the age of 91. He was born in Wales on March 22, 1920 to Hyrum and Marvella Thomas Anderson. Lee grew up in Wales and attended Moroni schools through high school.

Lee married Lenore Anderson (deceased), later divorced. He married Patsy Anderson, divorced. He married Twila Johnson, deceased.

Lee was active in the LDS church. He served in many callings. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 62 years.

Lee farmed for many years for Aaron Hanson. After that, he owned and operated two service stations in Ephraim for many years. Lee delivered oil in Ephraim and surrounding areas while owning his service stations. He worked for Sanpete County for several years.

Lee was on the board of the Cattlemen's Association for several years. He was also a member of the water association for the town of Wales. He served on the board for Domestic and Child Abuse. He dedicated his life in helping and serving others.

Lee lived long enough to see five generations born twice in the family.

Lee is survived by his loving family and friends. He has five children: Jean (Ron) Jeppson, Carolyn (Don) Hafen, Kent Anderson, Brenda (Glenn) Taylor, Judy (Mike) Comish; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two step-children, Peggy Williams, Mike (Bev) Anderson; numerous step-grandchildren; two brothers: Lamont and Hyrum Anderson; one sister: Zola (Bert) Ruesch. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gaylen; brother, Ariel Anderson; and grandson, James Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fountain Green Ward Chapel, 151 South 200 West. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Fountain Green chapel and again Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Wales Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
