Leah Ackerman Atkinson, 91, of Junction passed away February 8, 2015 in Salt Lake City. She was born December 10, 1923 in Antimony to Joseph and Elsie McIntosh Ackerman. She married L. Wayne Atkinson, August 17, 1968 in Las Vegas. The marriage was solemnized October 20, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1986.
She is survived by her children: Rodney (Karen) Christiansen, Ivins; Linda (Lane) Dalton, South Jordan; Anna (Leland) Millett, Kingston; Ken Christiansen, Taylorsville; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Zelda Ackerman, Velda Norton, Marion Ackerman, Fern Ackerman, Raeola FeLevre, Voyne Ackerman and Vila Whittaker.
Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Junction Cemetery. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
