    Lawrence “Larry” Wayne Chavis passed away March 26, 2023 in St. George.  Larry is the second child of seven, born March 15, 1938 in Hayden, CO to Ray and Harriet Chavis. 
    Larry served two years in the military, and when he returned he married his high school
sweetheart, Sherry. 
    He had a sense of humor like no other. He loved good food, and spending time with his family. But his passion was fishing. If he could find a lake, that’s where he would be. 
    He is survived by four of his eight children: Jeri, Steven, Vickie, and Laurie; many grandchildren; two siblings, Susan (Dannie), and Carol.  
    Preceded in death by his parents; children: Lonnie, Michael, Pamela, and Joe.
