Larry John Norman

Larry John Norman, 59, passed away December 27, 2011 in Redmond at the home of his sister, Lana Roberts. He was born February 28,1952 in Richfield to John Ellis and Yukon Griffin Norman.

Larry loved hunting, fishing, camping, and above all his family. He enjoyed watching the Jazz games with his mother.

During the last few years Larry lived with his mother in Escalante and was very devoted to taking care of her. Larry loved puttering in the backyard with his son, tending their small herd of sheep. Larry had a great sense of humor and loved telling stories. Larry will be greatly missed by all in his family: his mother, sisters, son, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Survived by son, Tracy (Desiree) Sidwell, Panguitch; mother, Yukon, of Escalante; grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, and Oaklee Sidwell; sisters, Linda (Delmas) Overall, Escalante; Lana (Steve) Roberts, Redmond; Becky Castleman, Redmond; Debbie Eiman, Frisco, TX; Janalee (Steve) Colby, Salina; and Moniece (Larry) Tackett, Redmond.

Preceded in death by: father, John; children: Michelle Norman and Larry John Norman, Jr.; brother, Dee Lynn Norman; sister, Kim Norman; brother-in-law, David Eiman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Escalante 1 ^st Ward, 90 South Center, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
