Larry John Gleave, 84, finally was able to be with his sweet Patricia after 22 years of separation. His passing was on November 28, 2015 in Richfield. He was born April 17, 1931 in Annabella to Robert Lee and Madge Johanna Anderson Gleave. He married Patricia Dionne Paschal, August 26, 1959 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized April 17, 1969 in the Manti Temple. Pat preceded him in death November 24, 1993.

Larry served as an Army paratrooper during the Korean War. He graduated from BYU in 8 years with a 4 year degree in Animal Husbandry and Science He was an agent for State Farm Insurance on Richfield’s main street for over 50 years. He was active in Annabella town activities including being a member of the Annabella Lion’s Club, president of the Annabella Canal Company, town mayor and was also a bishop of the Annabella Ward.

He is survived by children: Jonathan Cole Gleave, Murray; Dorian Dee (David) Madsen, Richfield; Christopher Chip Gleave, Annabella; Fredrick Flint (Kathy) Gleave, Richfield; Ronald Todd (Natalie) Gleave, Richfield; JoAnna Lynn (Brandon) Gibson, Hurricane; Rebecca Ann (Shane) Soper, Hurricane; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Lott, Orem; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Elwin) Hoyle, Annabella. He is also preceded in death by his son, Matthew Reed Gleave; siblings, Ronald Gleave, Helen Shaw, Robert Lee Gleave.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella 2 ^nd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield Thursday evening from 6 to 8 or at the ward chapel in Annabella on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery with military rites by the Monroe American Legion and the Utah Honor Guard. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff and management of the Richfield Beehive Home for their love and care of dad during his stay there.
