LaRoy Tervort, 84, of Ephraim, passed away on January 4, 2013 in Nephi. He was born on August 7, 1928 in Carbon County to Henry and Blanche Tervort.
LaRoy retired in 1984 returning to Ephraim, UT to enjoy his Senior years closer to his family, siblings and to enjoy the outdoors hunting and fishing.
LaRoy is survived by a son, Scott Tervort; daughter, MaVae Turpin and brother, Eldon Tervort. He is preceded in death by his wife Katie Tervort, brothers; Ray Tervort (LaRoy’s twin), Dean Tervort, Earl Tervort and Dalas Tervort; Sisters, Leona Besser and Donna Peterson; and son, Kerry Tervort. He is a brother and father who will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Snow College Lady Badgers Basketball Team through the Developmental Office. Donation should be sent to 150 College Ave, Ephraim UT 84627.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary, Manti.
