Curly Lamprecht
Glenwood, Utah
Laone J "Curly" Lamprecht, 84, passed away suddenly on May 29, 2017 in Richfield. He was born in Richfield, May 4, 1933 to George and Clara Pearl Jessen Lamprecht.
He married Raeola Manwill, August 2, 1952 in Richfield, they later divorced. He married Kathleen Upshaw, they later divorced. His companion, C.C. Berry, preceded him in death.
Curly had a passion for life and was always on the go. He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing and riding, anywhere the trail would take him on his 4 wheeler. Saturdays were always his "yard sale" days keeping his eyes open for fishing poles, which he would refurbish during the winter months while waiting for spring. At last count his collection was over 200 poles. When he ran out of poles to clean up, he would tie flies while waiting for the weather to clear.
Curly had an excellent work ethic, working with Ford Motor Company for over 55 years. At the time of his retirement, he was one of the longest working employees Ford has had. Even after his "official" retirement, he stayed on in the parts department at Jorgensen Ford for several more years.
The greatest love of his life though was his family. He enjoyed his large posterity and spending time with them. He was proud of them and their accomplishments and never passed the opportunity of letting them each know how he felt about them.
He is survived by children: Connie Pollock, Deanna Manwell, Larry (Shayna) Lamprecht, Gary Lamprecht, Ronnie Lamprecht, all of Richfield; Jefery (Chrissy) Lamprecht, Taylorsville; Terry (Kristi) Upshaw, Benton, AR; Joey Sorensen, Aurora; Rusti Nelson, Salina; Andrea (Gonzalo) Escobedo, Willits, CA; 34 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren expected this year; sisters-in-law, Merna Lamprecht, Jetta Lamprecht
