LaDawn Gayle Mecham Davis, 79, passed away February 12, 2020 in Provo, Utah. She was born May 26, 1940 in Delta, Utah to Kenneth and Nina Moody Mecham. She married Maylon F. Erickson, April 15, 1959 in the Manti Temple. Later divorced. Married Larry Forbes, August 14, 1976 in Las Vegas, later divorced. Married DeMar R. Davis September 23, 1987, in Las Vegas.

LaDawn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a kind and gentle lady. She loved working in her yard, spring and the flowers as they started to grow. She like to sew and made her children’s clothes when they were young. She also liked to crochet. She loved camping, going on rides, and picnics with her family. She truly loved her family. She will be greatly missed.

Survived by husband; children: David E. (Shelly) Erickson, Evanston, WY; Kathy Sullivan, Richfield; Judy Jensen, Orem; step-children: Greg G (Janice) Davis, Phoenix, AZ; Brad C. (Tammy) Davis, Fruit Heights; Robin (Richard) Hewitt, South Jordan; Julie Ann Roberts, South Jordan; son-in-law, Dirk Jolley; 14 grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; sister, Betty Corry, Lindon; sister-in-law, Diane Mecham, Delta.

Preceded in death by parents; step-daughter, Lisa Jolley; great-grandchildren: Oakley Turner, Gage and Aiden Reinhart; siblings: Dorothy (Ned) Tervort, Ronald (Cheryl) Mecham, Richard Mecham; brother-in-law, Keith Corry.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February18, 2020 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
