Kevin Jensen, 66, passed away August 1, 2016 during a family outing at Ferron Reservoir. He was born May 22, 1950 in Gunnison to Royal W. and Maxine Barney Jensen. He married Diane Purper and together had 4 children, they later divorced.

He married Tammie Faye Orton, April 21, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV at a drive through wedding chapel. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple August 21, 2009.

An active member of the LDS Church, Kevin was a Primary teacher for 4 years and served for a year at the Manti Temple as an ordinance worker.

Kevin was a wonderful man, good father and grandfather, a great husband and a hard worker. He loved hunting, fishing, being in the mountain with his family, gaming. He was recently diagnosed with ALS and on his last trip to Mesquite, he said he "could still push the button" on the slot machine.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Tammie of Centerfield; children: Suzanne (Wuildem) Soto, Saratoga Springs; Billy (June) Jensen, Eagle Mtn; Brawny Jensen, Centerfield, Shassy Jensen, Centerfield; Skylar Sharpe, Parker, AZ; step-son, Joshua Leek, Centerfield; 6 grandchildren; mother, Maxine Jensen, Centerfield; siblings: Roland Jensen, Price; Fred (Mary) Jensen, Rapid City, SD; Reed (Lori) Jensen, Richfield; Michele Jensen, Mayfield. He is preceded in death by his father, Royal Jensen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerfield 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 210 South Main, where friends may call on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., or on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Centerfield Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
