Kerry Blood

Price, Utah

Kerry G Blood, 64, passed away August 16, 2015 in Price. He was born October 1, 1950 in Richfield, Utah to Afton and Carol Brindley Blood. He grew up in Piute County where he spent his days hunting, riding horses and working hard on the farm. He married his sweetheart and eternal companion, Jacquelynn Barnes on August 3, 1973, having six children.

Kerry loved his wife and children very much. He spent his life attending sporting events for his kids, hunting with his kids, riding horses and working hard to teach his kids. He will be remembered for his unbelievable work ethic, his love for his family and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He touched the lives of all those who knew him.

Grandpa Kerry loved his grandchildren so much and they were a light in his life. He looked forward to spending time with his kids and grandkids whether it was showing them the horses, going for a ride in the CanAm or just sitting around telling stories. He will always be “the Grandpa Bear.” We are deeply saddened by his passing and he will be missed greatly. We love him very much and just hope they have Diet Coke and horses in Heaven.

He is survived by his wife; children: Brandie (Jeff) Rudy, Brett (Heather) Blood, Bryce (Candice) Blood, Brandon (Amber Sparks) Blood, Brook (Rich) Triplett; 14 grandchildren; mother; siblings: Layne (Ilene) Blood, Bryan (Cathy) Blood, Camee (Scott) Zingleman.

Preceded in death by his father; son, Brant Kerry Blood.
