Our beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend, Kenneth Ashley Sorenson, Jr, 32, passed away August 8, 2012 at the University of Utah Hospital due to an industrial accident. He was born February 7, 1980 in Richfield to Kenneth Ashley Sorenson and Fjola Marie High. He married Kathy Houston, December 7, 2002 in Sigurd.
Ashley was one who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a tender-hearted, loving man who will be missed. He was the greatest father any child could ask for. He was an excellent welder, the best fisherman and hunter.
Ashley, we love you so much. You made a difference in so many lives. We will miss that cute smile everyday but you will always be in our hearts. Always and forever we’ll love you.
Survived by wife, Kathy, Sigurd; children: Sterling and Stormee; parents, Kenneth (Donna) Sorenson, Richfield and Fjola (Kip) Wilson, Kamas; siblings: Kristie (Kevin) Bradshaw, Cedar City; Shelly (Eli) Childers, Glenwood; step-brothers and sisters: Trent and Meghan Greenhalgh; Jace, Kenzie, Kelli and Megan; grandmothers, Velma Sorenson, Elsinore; Kristjana High, Richfield.
Preceded in death by grandfathers: Ferd Sorenson, Elvin High; uncle, Mike High; niece, Brooke Bradshaw, and best friend, Robert Worthen.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield Tabernacle (200 W. Center).
