Kelly Loyd Sharp, 61, of Elsinore, passed away on January 27, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 19, 1954 in Richfield, UT to Loyd and Barbara Case Sharp.
Kelly was raised in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School. He met and married his sweetheart, Mary Jean Lanier on March 2, 1976 in Manti, UT. They were blessed with 5 children: Bryan, Christopher, Jenni, Sherri and Michael.
He was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, welding and anything he could build with his hands. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. Kelly always stood up for what he believed was right regardless of the consequences.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, Elsinore; children, Bryan (Teresa) Sharp, Richfield; Christopher Sharp, St. George; Jenni Shaw (fiancé, Dan Harding), Richfield; Sherri (Travis) Burr, Richfield; Michael (Naomi) Sharp, Layton. He is also survived by siblings: Bob Sharp, Nevada; Ron (Janice) Sharp, Texas; Steve (Deloa) Sharp, Bountiful; Roxanne Abney, New Mexico; John Abney, New Mexico; Elizabeth Sharp, Vernal and 21 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Sharp; brothers: David Sharp and William (Charmaine) Sharp; and a grandson, Tyeson Sharp.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary, Richfield. Friends may call at the mortuary prior to services from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
