Kathryn Jolley
Richfield, Utah,
In the early morning hours of December 23, 2017, in Richfield, our beloved mother, Kathryn Joyce Harward Jolley returned home to our loving Heavenly Father. Kathryn was born to Herald and Olive Leona Anderson Harward on February 16, 1933 in Aurora, Utah.
She gave birth to 8 children which were the joy of her life.
One of the many talents that Kathryn enjoyed was cooking. She loved it and was great at it. When we were kids growing up, every Wednesday was bake day in our home. She would bake enough bread and goodies to last our family until the next Wednesday. These talents would lead Kathryn to a stage in her life where she went to work for Richfield Rehabilitation and Care Center where she cooked for the residents and staff for over 12 years. She grew to love everyone she worked with.
Later in life, Kathryn would return to the Care Center which became her last home here on earth. She was loved dearly by the staff there and she loved them liked family. Kathryn had a love for everyone she came to know throughout her life and would greet everyone she met with a hug. She was a kind, sweet, endearing lady that was loved by all.
Kathryn is survived by her children: Hal, MarJean, Kent (Michele), Carolyn (Annette); daughter-in-law, MaryAnn (Tom) Saxton; brother, Ross Harward; sister-in-law, Alma Ogden; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Val Jolley; children: Joyce Ann Christensen, Boyd Val Jolley, and stillborn twin daughters; grandson, Jeremy Boyd Jolley.
