Kathryn Gayle White Guthrie passed away January 6, 2018 at 58 years old. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She was a wonderful and selfless woman who showed love and compassion to all people that entered her life.
Born and raised in West Valley City, Utah, Kathy graduated from Granger High School with high academics. Upon graduation she obtained her Cosmetology license. She attended several colleges: Salt Lake Community College, and the University of Utah. She then went on to work as a Systems Analyst for the State of Utah. Her job was fulfilling and she entered retirement after 25 years of service. Her days were spent cheering on her two sons at baseball games, caring for her family, socializing with girlfriends and cosmetologists at her local hair appointments.
Kathy Guthrie lives on through her husband of 40 years, Steve Guthrie; her sons: Gaven and Brody Guthrie; mother, Jo White; sister, Kris Carlson; brother Steve White.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, where friends may call from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery.
