Katherine Marie Held Bradley, 83, passed away April 22, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Katherine was born November 12, 1928 in Inglewood, California to Frank and Elizabeth Slater Held. Katherine was known to her family and friends as Katie.
She was married to Gaylen Bradley of Los Angeles, California, May 11, 1947. Katherine, husband Gaylen and their oldest children David and Gaylene moved to Manti in 1956. Beginning in 1965, and for the next 30 years, Gaylen and Katie owned and operated Bradley’s AG grocery store on Main Street. Katie and Gaylen were well respected and cherished members of the Manti community.
Katie is survived by her children: David (Laura), Gaylene, Christopher (Levent) and Charles (Julia). Katie has 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gaylen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Magleby Mortuary, 195 West 100 North, Manti. Friends may call at the Mortuary after 11:00 a.m.. She was married to Gaylen Bradley of Los Angeles, California, May 11, 1947. Katherine, husband Gaylen and their oldest children David and Gaylene moved to Manti in 1956.
