Karma Olsen
August 30, 1948 — July 26, 2011
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Karma Peterson Olsen, 62, passed away peacefully at her home in Ephraim on July 26, 2011. She was born August 30, 1948 in Gunnison to Ervan and Jennie Lou Nelson Peterson. She married Donald Lee Olsen, June 14, 1969 in Manti.
She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, spending time in the mountains and loved her cat, Honey. She worked many years at the turkey plant in Moroni, retiring after 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Ephraim; children, Donna L (Brandon) Butler of Tooele, Chris K (Jenny) Olsen of Nephi and Mickey L Olsen of Ephraim; eight grandchildren; siblings: Joyce (Don) Christensen of East Carbon, Calvin Peterson of Manti, Gordon (Melody) Peterson of Kearns, Elaine Chatwin of Eagle Mountain and Susan (Lloyd) Lyons of Manti. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim 5 th LDS Ward Chapel, 751 South 100 East, where friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to assist with funeral costs.
