June Everitt Lund

Ephraim, Utah

June Everitt Lund, 82, of Ephraim, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011. She was born in Moroni, UT on June 27, 1928 to James Alma & Elizabeth Ellen Riley Everitt.

June was raised and educated in the Sanpete Valley, where she spent her life. She married her sweetheart Ralph Alma Lund, June 12, 1948 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. June was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a primary worker and faithful visiting teacher. She worked as a cook at Fireside Caf

June is survived by her husband, Ralph and children: Alma (Koy) Lund, Ephraim; Thomas (Leslie) Lund, Ephraim; Terry (Wendy) Lund, Ephraim; Karl (Julie) Lund, Ephraim; and Molly (John) Turnbull, Midway. She is also survived by siblings: Ada (Thayne) Jarrett, Nephi; Connie (Earl) Jones, Tooele; Leonard (Glenna) Everitt, Spring City; LaMar (Darlene) Everitt, Nephi; 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Alma (Nelda) Everitt, Fountain Green; Margaret (Clifford) Jorgensen, Ephraim; William (Barbara) Everitt, Orem; Renon (Gordon) Thomson, Ephraim.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the Ephraim Stake Center, 400 East Center St. Friends may call on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. and at the Stake Center prior to services on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.

é , 89 Caf é (where she met Ralph), Snow College and Ephraim Elementary School. She enjoyed her Dinner Club and was an excellent Care Giver.
