June C. Jensen
Richfield, Utah
Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, June Carter Jensen, 89, of Richfield, returned to her Father in Heaven on July 16, 2023 in St. George with her loving husband Morris at her bedside. She was born November 27, 1933 to Pearl Osborn Carter, and Ralph M. Carter in Salt Lake City. She married Morris E. Jensen in Elko, NV, on July 1, 1950.
June enjoyed traveling, her and Morris traveled abroad to Europe, Mexico, and Hawaii. Around 1975 June and Morris built a cabin, which became the family’s favorite gathering spot. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the cabin, and spent countless other occasions there. She also loved camping with her children and grandchildren, and went on many trips with their Good Sam’s club in their fifth wheel RV following retirement.
June enjoyed many gatherings with family and friends. Family meant everything to June, and if you were a friend you became her family. She served as a Pink Lady, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
June loved her community and never wanted anyone to go without. If she could help out she would jump at the opportunity.
