    Julie Shepherd, 57 of Lehi, passed away on October 24, 2023 in American Fork. She was born December 26, 1965, in Provo to Ronald and Shirley Fausett. She married the love of her life, Brent Shepherd, on June 7, 1985, in American Fork.  Brent and Julie were sealed in the Manti Temple on June 6, 1987.    
    She leaves behind a legacy of faith and love that will continue to uplift those fortunate enough to know her.  She was "one tough chick." She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of loving her. Julie is survived by her husband, Brent Shepherd, and her children: John (Cristhina) Shepherd, Jana Bartell, Tyrell (Brittany) Shepherd, Dillon (Breena) Shepherd, Jaden Shepherd; and nine grandchildren.     
    Julie our "walking miracle" found the greatest joy by devoting time to attending the temple and serving those around her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and engaging in her hobbies of cooking, camping, and crafting.  
    Julie demonstrated tremendous strength as she began remission of her diagnosis of brain cancer in 2003. Through her ongoing health challenges, she emulated an attitude of positivity and led her life with kindness and service.     
    With the most magnetic personality, Julie made friends everywhere she went. She was able to connect with people of different types with her sense of humor and ability to brighten a room with her contagious smile. Julie was gifted and blessed with compassion. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many church callings.
    Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 3rd Ward Chapel, 1920 North 500 West. Friends may call at the ward chapel Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. or Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Wallsburg Cemetery.
