Judy Rae Peterson Halverson, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 80. Judy was married to Boyd Halverson, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her husband and children: S SueAnn, Dan, Shona, and Michelle.
A woman of diverse interests, Judy enjoyed arrowhead hunting, finding joy in discovering pieces of history. She was an avid shopper, always on the lookout for treasures, and had a special passion for reading romance novels, often losing herself in their pages. She enjoyed a good game of Rummy, and her creativity shone brightest during the holidays when she would decorate her home, creating a festive atmosphere that brought joy to all who visited.
Judy was known for her incredible work ethic, often managing multiple jobs at once. Her
determination and hard work were inspiring. She always made time to laugh and celebrate life’s
moments, never missing a good party.
Her faithful companion, her dog Ginger, will miss her dearly, as will all who were fortunate enough to know her.
