Judith Ellen Connors Lubinski was born April 13, 1947 in Lynn, MA and passed away peacefully at Gunnison Valley Hospital on February 22, 2024.
Judy grew up in Lynn, MA and attended schools there, graduating from Lynn English High School in 1964. After attending nursing school, she became an LPN and worked at hospitals in the area. She met and married the love of her life, Robert Lubinski. In her early ‘20s she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This brought her great happiness and joy throughout her life. She loved serving in the church, at the Boston Temple, doing family history and especially the three years she spent working with the Asian Branch in the Boston area. She did family history for over 40 years, with the loving support of her dear husband. Judy felt that family history work was her life’s mission.
When Bobby was diagnosed with cancer and needed to retire, they took the trip of a lifetime, renting a RV and traveled throughout the west, seeing national parks and the beauties of nature. After Bobby passed away Judy moved to Florida, but she did not like the weather and the crowds of people, so she got online and found her ideal place — Manti, Utah, rural and with a temple. In 2006 she bought a home and moved cross country all by herself, not knowing a soul. Judy’s wonderful sense of humor, warm smile and delightful Boston accent quickly endeared her to many new friends in Manti, several families “adopted” her into their families; and she was loved by all, young and old. As Judy’s health declined, she was forever grateful for all who loved and served her, for the beauties of the earth and for her faith in God and eternal families.
Judy was pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph Patrick and Mildred Louise Libby Connors; husband, Robert Lubinski; brother, Jospeh P. Connors, Jr. and an infant sister, Cecelia Marie Connors. She leaves behind an adopted daughter, Dawn Marie Lubinski and grandson Jason Morton, Jr, of Derry, NH; granddaughter, Amy McCormack, Sommerville, MA; brother, Steven Connors and his wife, Carmen, Pensacola, FL; sister, Susan Turner, Beverly, MA; 2 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends and neighbors. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Max and Murphy.
