John Burke Kotter, 86, of Elsinore, Utah passed away December 9, 2014 in Richfield, Utah. He was born May 5, 1928, in Elsinore, Utah to Henry and Clara Ramsay Kotter. He married Joan Poulson October 18, 1948, in Richfield. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
He is survived by his wife Joan, Elsinore; children, Tonja (Tony) Jacobson, CA; Robert John Kotter, Elsinore; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Jim Kotter, Marilynn Zuzek, Ralph Kotter, G ilman Kotter, Claire Johnson.
Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Pamela Gladwell; half-siblnigs: Evelyn Kotter, Madge Gray Bishop Staples, Garth Gray and Roma Gray Jensen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 12:00 Noon in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Elsinore on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery with military rites by Elsinore American Legion Post #75 and Utah Honor Guard.
