John Nance Garner, 81, passed away in his ancestral home in Ephraim, UT on April 23, 2020. John was born on November 8, 1938 in Salt Lake City, UT to Burtis Harry and Alta McCafferty Garner. He married Katherine Ola Scott in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 4, 1959. They enjoyed 60 years together.

John worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the security department. He served during the presidencies of President Kimball through President Hinkley. John also worked as a piano tuner for 50 years.

John is survived by his wife, Kathy; 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
