John Eric Francks

John Eric Francks, our son, brother and father died on May 16, 2014 as the result of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born April 2, 1966 and is the son of Mary C. Jorgensen and Dr. Valden J. Francks.

John brought happiness and fun wherever he was. As a limousine driver John interacted with many interesting celebrities and always had a hilarious story to share. His humor was infectious and lightened everyone's day. He was an endless fountain of information and had a knack for drawing faces. John was a loving father to his children, they were his world.

It has been said that around John there were awkward moments, but never awkward silence.

John is survived by his mother, Mary C. Jorgensen of Ephraim; sister, Freddie Ann (Ron) Stevenson; brother, Richard J. Francks; children, Zachary Eric Francks, Jessica Ann (Dan) Koopmans, Alex Jay Francks, Mason Seth Francks, Mary Elise Francks, Madeline Roxanne Francks, Micah Joseph Francks and Erica Hall. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Valden J.Francks and stepfather, Vern Jorgensen

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim 6 ^th Ward Chapel, 751 South 100 East. Friends may call prior to services at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
