Jim Johnson
Richfield, Utah
It is with heartfelt sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, and granddaddy, Jimmie (Pops).
Jimmie L. Johnson of Richfield, Utah, born 1943 to Myrtle and Sam Johnson in Atlanta, GA.
Jim proudly served in the Army, where his bravery and service exemplified his strong character and sense of duty. Following his military career, he devoted over 20 years to Southern Bell/AT&T in Atlanta, GA, where his hard work and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Jim had a sincere passion for electronics, restoring old radios, building models, and a profound appreciation for classical music.
Jim felt a deep connection to Utah and moved to Richfield in 2014, where he had a log home built to enjoy the picturesque views of beautiful farmland and expansive open spaces. He cherished hiking and took many memorable trips to our National Parks. His kindhearted and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. We miss him wholeheartedly and feel a deep sadness in his absence.
