Our special little “Trunky Monkey”, Jersey Lyn Mickelsen, slipped back into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father, March 9, 2012 from complications of congenital heart disease. She was born in Richfield on January 20, 2012 to Chad and Laci Brewer Mickelsen.
Even though her time with us was just seven short weeks and her early passing was caused by problems with her physical heart, she touched the hearts of many people and she will be remembered as our little miracle.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by sister and brother, Brooklyn, Houston; grandparents, Myron “Whitey” and Joy Mickelsen; Jeff and Lisa Brewer; great-grandparents, Mathel Mickelsen; Hugh Blackburn.
The family extends their appreciation for the many thoughts and prayers in Jersey’s and the family’s behalf during this time.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Redmond 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 310 West 100 North in Redmond. Friends and family may call at the church in Redmond on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 and again on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place in the Redmond Cemetery.
