Jerry Shane Anderson,54, passed away December 16, 2019 in Cedar City, Utah. He was born September 24, 1965 in Salt Lake City to Sherman Jerry Anderson and Jackie Thalman. He married Leslie Ann Johnson April 11, 1998 in Provo, Utah.

He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont California. He then moved to Utah where he met the love of his life and had three beautiful children.

A loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend, Jerry was a very selfless loving man with many hobbies and loved being outdoors. With his free time he enjoyed going on rides with his dog Boston, fishing, camping, riding his four-wheeler, or watching sports and NASCAR. His truest friend was his wife. There wasn’t anything he loved more then being surrounded by his grandchildren holding them, wrestling with them, or simply laughing at the crazy things they would say or do.

Jerry is survived by his wife; children: Shelby Johnson, Pueblo, CO; Jessica (Dalton) Richens, Eagle Mountain; Kasey (Jazmyne) Anderson, Salina; grandchildren: Addisen and Mackenzy Adams, Raelyn and Lennox Richens, and Oakley Anderson; mother; mother-in-law, June Johnson; siblings: Chad Morrow, San Lorenzo, CA; Jill (Aaron) Leishman, Hyde Park. Preceded in death by his father; and grandparents; father-in-law, Bruce Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Salina Stake Center, 98 West 400 North, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery.
