Gerald Wilford "Jerry" Nice, 85, passed away peacefully with his family around him on February 26, 2019 at his daughter's home in Annabella. Jerry was born June 18, 1933 in Calexco, California. He married Edna Lorraine Hargrove.

Jerry served in the Army with the 187th Airborne in Korea, and received a Purple Heart. He married the love of his life Edna Lorraine Hargrove. He was in law enforcement in California before moving his family to Annabella. He worked as a lieutenant for the Sevier County sheriff’s office. Gerald Wilford "Jerry" Nice, 85, passed away peacefully with his family around him on February 26, 2019 at his daughter's home in Annabella. Jerry was born June 18, 1933 in Calexco, California. He married Edna Lorraine Hargrove, September 30, 1957 in Las Vegas.

Jerry served in the Army with the 187th Airborne in Korea, and received a Purple Heart. He married the love of his life Edna Lorraine Hargrove. He was in law enforcement in California before moving his family to Annabella. He worked as a lieutenant for the Sevier County sheriff’s office. After retiring he became a well respected county commissioner for Sevier County. But his greatest accomplishment was his family. His witty sense of humor and contagious laugh will be missed by all.

He is survived by wife; son, Michael (Tamie) Nice, Montana; daughters: Jodie (John) Murdock, Lissa (Doug) Blake, Glenwood; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Donny (Maddie) Nice and Diane Collins.
