    We are saddened by the loss of Jeremy Joseph Wilford.  Jeremy was born in Davenport, Iowa on September 2, 1977 and passed away on February 15, 2023 in Provo, UT.  He was a fighter but he didn’t win this fight! He is at peace now, well maybe; unless he’s up there being Jeremy and making his presence be known with excitement ("Jeremy's here!”). We all know he was greeted with loving arms from the ones he’s lost and truly missed. 
    Jeremy loved to cook, he knew how to prepare for an army and in his army no one went hungry! He always had your back and welcomed anyone in need, just had to put up with him but he was a protector! A little loud, obnoxious, and tell ya how it is kinda fella! 
    Jeremy also listened and sang LOUD rowdy music, wrote a few songs and threw out some tunes with friends and family!! He didn’t become famous but it was a good time! (We will share his music at the graveside.) 
    Jeremy grew up in Utah and loved to be outdoors. He was big on fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, 4-wheeling, riding horses, baseball athlete, and  just loved having a good time! Talk about center of attention, if you know you know! 
    The last years of Jeremy’s life, he got to spend married to his high school sweetheart Starla. She loved him no matter what. 
    Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandparents: DuWayne H. and Glenna Banks; Aunt JoAnn Banks Long; brother-in-law, Slate Mickelsen; and niece Lyberdee Cisneros. 
    Loved ones he left behind: his wife, Starla Wilford; step-son, Landan Mellor; daughter; Sativa Wilford; mother JoEll Banks Wilford; father Joe Wilford; siblings: Amber Wilford, DuWayne (Brianna) Wilford, Risa Wilford Washburn, Steven (Sarah) Wilford. As well as many family, friends (and enemies-LOL)! 
    Graveside services will held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to services at Magleby Mortuary, Manti from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
