Rehnae Bagley

December 28, 1930 — October 13, 2024

Manti, Utah

Jeanette Rehnae Beaumont Bagley
Manti, Utah

Better known as Rehnae to her friends and family and lovingly referred to as Grandma “Nae” or GG by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sunday, October 13, 2024 Rehnae passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

Rehnae was born December 28, 1930 in Beaver to Nola and Clark Beaumont. Her family moved to many different areas in Utah where she attended multiple schools. They eventually made their way back to Beaver where she was attending high school when she met her sweetheart.

On September 10,1946 she married Lloyd Leroy Stewart whom she shared 8 children with including 2 sets of twins. Lloyd passed away suddenly in 1969 at the young age of 43, leaving Rehnae a widow at the age of 39, with 8 children to raise.

She went to work to provide for her family, but not without having to obtain her driver’s license first. She worked hard ensuring that her children never went without. She was a very independent woman who wanted to provide for her family without any sort of assistance. She was an excellent seamstress and made the majority of her children’s clothing and Christmas gifts.

She was resourceful and knew how to feed a large family on a budget. Her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls were one of her family’s favorite.

At the age of 50 Rehnae returned to school to earn her GED; this is something that she was very proud of. On April 19, 1984 she married Owen Bagley, they were later sealed for all time and eternity on April 25, 2007 in the Manti temple. Owen treated Rehnae like a queen and together they shared a beautiful life. Owen had 8 children of his own from a previous marriage, but loving and accepting Rehnae’s 8 children seemed to come easy for him. Together they would travel with friends to Yuma every winter and pick pine nuts every fall. They enjoyed numerous camping and fishing trips with their families. Rehnae loved to garden and every year she would can her harvest with her children, teaching them the important skill of canning and preserving. Rehnae was an intelligent, quick witted woman and remained that way until her last days. Her intelligence and extensive vocabulary earned her the title of reigning champion of Scrabble. She loved puzzles and playing board games with her family.

Rehnae is survived by her children: Jeanette Stewart and Lynette Tapia, Richfield; Katherine (Larry) Bingham, Clearfield; Lori (Gerardo) Reyes, Moroni; Kevin (Janet) Stewart, Elsinore; daughters-in-law: Yasuko Stewart, Patricia Stewart and Barbie Woods; step-children: Kenny, Robin, Bobbie, Wrendi and Sam; as well as 29 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren, with her first great-great grandchild coming in January.

She anxiously awaited and looked forward to the day she would be reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death, which include her parents; siblings: Richard, Irene, Jolene and Corwyn; her husband, Owen Bagley; the father of her children, Lloyd Stewart; sons: Danny, Kim and Shane Stewart; step-children: Jacque, Mont and Lark Bagley; grandsons: Lance, Cristopher, KC Stewart and Shon Lee.
