Jeannine Shepherd

Richfield, Utah

Our kind and beloved mother grandmother, sister and aunt, Jeannine Reynolds Shepherd, passed away February 21,2016 at her home in Richfield at the age of 82. She was born September 30, 1933 to Peter William and Cora Peterson Reynolds in Spring City, Utah. She spent her early years in Mt. Pleasant. She married Jay Marlin Shepherd on June 30,1950 in Mt. Pleasant. On June 30,1964 they were sealed as a family in the Manti LDS Temple. They had 66 wonderful years together. They made their home in Richfield in 1960 after moving from Kearns, Utah.

Jeannine enjoyed dipping chocolates and making wedding cakes. Jay loved her homemade bread, as did everyone. We enjoyed many family dinners together, and she will be missed greatly. She shared her talents of crocheting doilies, afghans and bed dolls with her kids. She made quilts from bassinet material for the grandkids and baby blankets for each family for the great-grandkids. Jeannine also loved her flower gardens, and had a beautiful yard.

Jeannine is survived by her wonderful husband, Jay Shepherd; sons: Kerry (Sondra), Russell (Rebecca), and daughter Tammy (Wayne) Larson; as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters: Wilma, Susan and Vicki.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; granddaughter, Jessica; great-granddaughter, Amber; brothers: Billy, Lynne and Gordon; sister, Elaine.
