Jeanette Ford Sanderson, 76, passed away May 25, 2022 in Provo. She was born January 26, 1946 in Orem, Utah to Leo James and Genevieve Gordon Ford.  She married Joel H. Sanderson on January 14, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom had many Christ-like attributes. She was patient and kind. She loved and served everyone she met, but her greatest love and joy was her family.

She inherited a love for the mountains from her dad, and enjoyed camping trips with her family, side-by-side rides, and the annual cabin trip with her sisters. She loved to bake and make chocolates serving many with her homemade treats.

She had a great love for the Savior and the gospel. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a full-time mission with her husband. Served in the Manti Utah Temple and in many Church callings including Primary president and Relief Society president twice. She also played the organ in every ward she attended.

We love you and will miss you greatly but we know through our Savior we can be together again.

Survived by her husband, Joel; children: Shelly (Russell) Wright, Delta; Shauna (David) Anderson, Bothwell; Ricky (Nikki) Sanderson, Cedar City; Joel (Cozy) Sanderson, Cedar City; Pamela (Kim) Dalton, Monroe; Spencer (RaSelle) Sanderson, Enterprise; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Roger (Karen) Ford, Orem; Ann Kirk, Orem; Peggy (Noel) Torgerson, Annabella; Mindy (Russ) Wiscombe, St. George; Laura (Blaine) Wirth, Orem; Kevin (Janice) Ford, Saratoga Springs.

Preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Rikki Jai; brother-in-law, Dave Kirk.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Annabella 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield or Friday morning at the ward chapel in Annabella from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery.
