Jared Fullmer

Jared Paul James Fullmer was born December 16, 1991, in Payson. He died unexpectedly at the age of 31 in Ogden on August 19, 2023. Jared is the son of James Fullmer and Penny Jenson.
Jared attended elementary school in Fairview, middle school in Moroni, and graduated from Manti High School. In high school, he loved being involved in many plays and musicals, including ‘It’s A Wonderful Life” and “Beauty and the Beast”. Jared also loved being part of the Mormon Miracle Pageant and played Samuel the Lamanite, Zarahemnah, and the Great Indian Spirit. Jared loved scouting and history and always enjoyed learning. He worked at Camp Maple Dell for four years and at Tifie for one year.
After high school, Jared attended Snow College, where he loved to study and learn. Jared served a mission to Farmington, NM for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he learned to love the Navajo people. He later graduated from Snow College and went to Weber State and BYU-Idaho, earning a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. He was in the process of taking classes to receive his master’s degree.
Jared married Noemi Umeres Mickelson in the Manti Temple on April 30, 2017. Jared and Noemi went to high school in Manti but did not meet until a few years after graduation. The couple welcomed two handsome boys: Rodrigo and Mateo.
Jared is survived by his sweet wife, Noemi; and sons: Rodrigo and Mateo Fullmer; his parents; siblings: Jessica (Davin) Waters, Christina (Kyle) Seljaas, BJ (Alexa) Fullmer, and Colton Fullmer; as well as nieces and nephews.
Jared is preceded in death by grandparents: “Bud” Orval Jenson, Karen Miriam White, Darrel Fullmer Jr, and Evelyn Berniece Inkley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ephraim 5th Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m., or Friday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
