    Janice Jones Taylor, passed away December 27, 2022 in Idaho Falls, ID.  She was born in Monroe on August 30, 1926 to Lawrence and Edna Jones, the oldest of three chidlren.  She was raised in Monroe until leaving for college, and then returned with her husband, Tom Taylor, for many of their retirement years. 
    Together Janice and Tom raised a family, served as educators, and built two homes themselves. 
    Janice is survived by her children: Roy Taylor, Camille Klippert and Bill Taylor; 21 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Paul Jones and Kim Jones.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and son, Larry.
    Her life was rich, with a love for art, music, designing, and adventure. She served many and was loved by many. Her life was a portrait of faith, devotion and perseverance.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 5th Ward Chapel, 140 S Main Street in Monroe, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
