Janice T. Hatch

Panguitch, Utah

On October 27, 2016, Janice Talbot Hatch, 77, was reunited with her eternal companion. She was born April 3, 1939 in Panguitch to Laurence J and Remona Elizabeth Beebe Talbot. She married James Houston "Tink" Hatch, November 15, 1957 in Pioche, Nevada. The marriage was solemnized November 15, 1958 in the St. George Temple. He preceded her in death August 10, 1997.

She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith and love for the Church was an inspiration to us all. She fulfilled many different callings, but her favorite was teaching Sunday School to the 16-17 year olds.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked in the Special Education Department in the Panguitch School System. She had a special love for her shared children and grandchildren who brightened her life everyday.

Janice always looked for the positive in every situation, she will always be remembered for never having negative thoughts or comments towards anyone. Even at her worst she was "good" and was concerned with how you were doing. She will truly be missed and thought of often by those of us who love her. We are grateful to know she is in a better place where she has been reunited with her loved ones and will suffer no more from the afflictions of her mortal body.

Surviving her are her daughters: Christine and Elizabeth "Bitsy"; siblings Larry J (Crystal) Talbot, Tom (Stephanie) Talbot, Linda (Tony) Wright; in-laws: Caryl Englestead, Elaine Hatch, Dave (Vera) Hatch, Janet (Larry) Leatham.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Steven and Tony Hatch; brothers, Dan (Hatch) Talbot and Roger Talbot

Funeral services will be held in the Panguitch 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 200 North 400 East on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Friends and family may call at the church on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 or on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:30. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery.
