Janene Ameila Jensen Lund, 65, passed away August 29, 2015 in Provo. She has suffered much these past few years and now she is at rest and has peace. She was born September 2, 1949 in Richfield to Lloyd and Pearl Jensen. She married David Lund July 31, 1976 in Jackpot, Nevada.
Janene will be remembered for her giving nature, sometimes giving until it hurt. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had a great testimony and faith in the plan of salvation.
Janene enjoyed several kinds of art, such as pencil drawing and needlework.
Janene is survived by her husband, David; children: Robert Scott Waldemar, Mindy Pearl Lund, Crystal Jensen, Mary Payne; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Gary Lee Jensen, Patsy Jean Adams and Joan Warenski.
Preceded in death by parents; siblings: Lola Jorgensen, Mack Jensen and Jannett Colby.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Marysvale Ward Chapel, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Thompsonville Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
