Jamie Arthur Cox "Fruit Nicker", 42, of Ephraim, reunited with his brother, Korie, and his Heavenly Father on February 13, 2016, surrounded by all his family at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
Jamie was born May 29, 1973 to Dennis and Lynnda Olsen Cox in Manti, UT. He married his high school sweetheart, Malisa Nicholls on April 3, 1993. Together they had three boys: Korie, Dalan and Luke.
Jamie loved being with his best brothers ever: Denny, Jayson and Jerry. Jamie worked hard all his life in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He loved being and working outside. Jamie loved music and getting people together. If Jamie gave you a nickname you knew he loved you. He had many friends and spent every extra minute with the people he loved.
Jamie is survived by his parents; children: Korie (Finesha) Cox, Dalan and Luke Cox; grandchildren: Taegon and Trinity; brothers: Denny (Carmelle) Cox, Jayson (Kathleen) Cox and Jerry (Misty) Cox. He is preceded in death by his brother, Korie Leon Cox and grandparents, Leon and Ruth Olsen, and Max and Melva Cox.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim Stake Center, where friends may call on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also prior to services on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
