James L. Gregerson, 93, passed away November 6, 2013 in Gunnison. He was born June 15, 1920 in Clarion, Utah, to Niels Peter and Karin Annette Mortensen Gregerson. He married Leah Phyllis Jensen January 23 1945 in Mayfield. The marriage was solemnized April 7, 1954 in the Manti Temple.
Jim is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Gunnison; sons: James L. Gregerson Jr., Gunnison; and Larry Jay (Leslie) Gregerson, Centerfield; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Amy Gregerson, Christianburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Zella Miller, Helena Sidwell, Elmer Anderson, Alton Anderson, Farrell Anderson, Kristina Whittaker, Burtis Gregerson, Juel M. Gregerson, Hazel Mary Gregerson and Betty May Gregerson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November11, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Gunnison Stake Center, 80 West Center. Friends may call at the stake center in Gunnison Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mayfield Cemetery with military rites by the Oliver-Russell American Legion Post #105.
