James Allen
Richfield, Utah
James Morris Allen (aka Jim, Morris, J.Morris) was born on June 7, 1941 in Bicknell, Utah, to the loving parents Bessie May Cooper and Ethan Arthur (Pete) Allen.
He attended Richfield High School, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Ronna Manwell. One weekend, a job opportunity moved James to Henderson, Nevada. He was a proud worker at TIMET, where he worked in the steelworkers union for 43 years and retired. He was blessed with 4 children, Tony, Craig, Tammy & Michael, 3 grandchildren, Josh, Paris, and Mia, and 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin Anthony, James David, Hunter Rose, and Preslee James.
After retiring, he returned to Richfield to pursue his first love of farming. He later married Eva Allen in the Manti Temple. Hay fever and all, he was a successful farmer and loved his cows and cow-dog, Shela. He was a true outdoorsman, was always on an adventure, and if he wasn’t home and the fish were biting, you would know where to find him.
James left this world a better place than when he arrived. He will be deeply missed, cherished and loved forever.
