Jacob VandeMyle, Jr.
Richfield, Utah
Jacob VandeMyle Jr. passed away December 28, 2020 at his home in Richfield. He was born to Kathy and Jacob VandeMyle on June 18, 1945 in Dordrecht Netherlands. He immigrated with his family in 1953. He served honorably in the US Marines in 1964-1968.
He loved fast motors and fixing them. Always had a project that included a fast motor or two. At one point he even raced with a team called "Thunder Road" at the Utah fair grounds and was a fixture at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He loved tinkering with every machine he could give power to, both on and off road. He loved hitting the car shows near and a far. His other great passion was kids. In "HIS BOOK" kids always came first and he lived his life letting kids know they were loved, whether be his kids, adopted or not. In addition, to showing his love to kids of all ages, he loved animals, always saving a stray.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer VandeMyle and many children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Corey; 2 grandchildren and 2 nephews.
His heart way big enough for all!!
