"Sit in the car honey, I'll handle it ..." Jackie Mecham Simmons, 52, Glenwood, left us her legacy Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Provo.

Jackie was born in Monroe, May 26, 1962, to Ella Marie Winget Mecham and the late Devern Mecham, of Monroe. Jackie graduated from South Sevier High School where she was a cheerleader and on the gymnastics team. She was very competitive and enjoyed participating in all sports.

Jackie married Mark Rickenbach, Glenwood, they had three children, Josh, Jason and Whitney, all of Glenwood. She later married the love of her life Bob Simmons May 24, 1997 and conjoined their families as one.
Touching the lives of many people in our community, "Momma Jack" will always be remembered for her willingness to help out a friend no matter who, what, when or where.

Always ready for adventure, Jackie had a deep love for the mountains and outdoors and spent much of her time on Cove with her family and friends. Her kind, compassionate spirit will never be forgotten, rest in peace.
Jackie is survived by her husband Bob; her children Josh Rickenbach, Jason Rickenbach, Whitney Rickenbach, all Glenwood; and Amanda (Kevin) Sattley, LaVerkin; her mother Ella Mecham; siblings Bill (Colette) Mecham, Ronald Mecham, all Monroe; Linda (Gene) Fordham, Vermillion; Susan (James) Stevens, Hurricane; Teena (Wayne) Jewkes, Central Valley; Shauna (Gary) Knight, Richfield; Janet Lee, East Windsor, NJ; and Russell Mecham, Rangely, CO and 2 grandchildren, Chelice and Brooke Sattley.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, at 11 a.m., in the Glenwood LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to services at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Glenwood cemetery.
