Jackie Eugene Leach, 87, of Richfield, passed away November 19, 2014 at his home in Richfield. He was born July 3, 1927 in Ludlow, Illinois to Cloy Elton and Minnie Irvin Leach. He married Patricia Angela Bautista, May 7, 1973 in Richfield.
Jackie served in the Navy during WWII. He was a good father—one of the best ever. He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed cooking. A good friend to everyone, he loved helping his neighbors.
Survived by his wife; daughter, Andrea (Frank) Parkin, Lousiana; step-children: Frank Perez (Scott Memett), Tucson, AZ; Barbara (Jim) Shanton, Palm Springs, CA; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Leach of Illinois.
Preceded in death by parents; step-daughter, Jerri Davis; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with military rites by the V.F.W.
