Ivy LaVern Naser Littlewood, 88, passed away October 8, 2013 in Murray, UT. She was born April 5, 1925 in Monroe, UT to John Rudolph and Ina LaVern Pope Naser. She married Grant LaMar Littlewood November 17, 1947 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death February 19, 1953.
Ivy grew up in Monroe and graduated from South Sevier High School. She retired after 28 years from Mountain Bell as a telephone operator.
Ivy’s family was her priority—they came first in everything. She loved to travel and her suitcase was always packed. She was widely known for her love of conversation and speaking what was on her mind. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she loved to attend the Manti Temple and served in many callings. She worked in extraction for genealogy work for many years.
She is survived by children: Karl G (JoAnn) Littlewood, Boise, ID; Karen Thomas, West Valley City, UT; 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, expecting two more; brother, Lawrence "Zonie" Naser, Richfield, UT; sisters, Mary Hansen, Washington, UT; Helen Christensen, St. George, UT.
Also preceded in death by parents; sister-in-law, Jean Naser; brothers-in-law, Clark Hansen and Don Christensen.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel in Richfield, UT where friends may visit Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
