Irene Weber Bleak

Richfield, Utah

Our loving sister, aunt, and friend Irene Weber Bleak, 85, passed away peacefully the morning of December 12, 2015 in Monroe, Utah. She was born on June 2, 1930 in Park City, Utah to Ludwig Richard and Melissa Day Weber. Irene spent her childhood in Park City and Joseph, Utah, where she was remembered as a loving and sweet child. On July 16, 1971 she married her eternal sweetheart Julious Penn Bleak. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple. They lived together in Monroe, Marysvale, and Richfield where they enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, and social activities with friends. Julious passed away in 2005 and Irene’s fondest wish was to be reunited with him again.

More recently, Irene lived at the Cedar Canyon Senior Apartments in Richfield. Then, last March she moved to Monroe Canyon Assisted Living. She loved her family and especially looked forward to visits from her sister, brothers, and nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her sister Della. In addition, she developed many special friendships throughout her life. Irene’s friends meant a great deal to her and she considered her friends to be family. Irene had a beautiful heartwarming smile that infectiously touched everyone.

She is survived by her sister, Della Hansen, two brothers Joseph (Joanne) Edwards and Richard (Dolly) Weber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Melissa Weber, her husband Julious Penn Bleak, a brother Earl Miller, and a brother-in-law Eldon Hansen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, Utah. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30. Burial will be in the Joseph Cemetery.

We greatly appreciate those individuals who lovingly cared for Irene through her last years and days.
