Ila Dean Hunt Huntsman, 84, of Elsinore, UT, passed away on October 25, 2017 in Richfield, UT. Ila was born on April 2, 1933 in Sevier, UT to John Donald and Marvell Ann Utley Hunt.

Ila Dean was raised in the Sevier Valley and graduated from South Sevier High School were she loved being a baton twirler. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. She loved quilting, painting, decorating, gardening at her home, shopping, dressing perfectly, dancing and spending time with her many family members and friends.

Ila married Robert Staples Nielson on March 13, 1950 in Central Valley, they later divorced. She then married Dale Huntsman on September 11, 2004 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Ila is survived by her husband, Dale; children, Kent H (Teresa) Nielson, Central Valley; Bradley J (Debra) Nielson, Elsinore; Nancee (Kevin) Peterson, Blackfoot, ID; siblings: Betty Christensen, Central Valley; Nedra (Thad) Nielson, Richfield; Cecil (Annette) Hunt, Richfield; Mary Ann (Kirby) Parker, Joseph; Patricia (David) Simonsen, Richfield.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kim; daughter, Julie Ann; parents, John Donald and Marvell Ann Utley Hunt; brothers, Gerald Hunt, Joe Hunt; sister, Vonda Julander; brother-in-law, Quinn Christensen; and many aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elsinore Ward Chapel. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Magleby Mortuary from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at also prior to services at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
