Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Ila Mickelson Edwards, 87, returned home to her Heavenly Father, where many of her loved ones were waiting for her arrival on January l, 2014. She passed away of natural causes surrounded by loving family at her daughters home in Salt Lake City. She was born March 14, 1926 in Gunnison, to John Melvin Duffin and May Mickelson Duffin. Ila married Don H. Edwards on June 28, 1944 where they were
sealed in the Manti Temple.

Ila lived in Gunnison her whole life working at several different jobs and later owned and operated Edwards Decorating with her husband Don. Ila was active in the LDS Church holding several
different callings. Her greatest joy and happiness was any activity that involved being with her family. Her final moments were spent celebrating the Christmas holidays with her daughter Melanie and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Don Edwards; children: Lary (Debbie) Edwards, Leslie (Carrie) Edwards, Melanie (Cory) Hammond; 11 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Blake Edwards; grandson, Colby Edwards; parents; older brothers: Lyman and Eldon Duffin; and sister, Glade Anderson.
